MD-12

The PZL (Państwowe Zakłady Lotnicze) represents the historical backbone of the Polish aviation industry in the 20th century. Founded in Warsaw in the interwar period, the company expressed the nation's engineering excellence through highly innovative fighter, utility, and airliner transport aircraft. The specific model PZL MD-12 (also known by the slug pzl-md-12) flew for the first time in 1959.
